Note: This section summarizes the temporary changes implemented due to the coronavirus pandemic that are of interest to interstate suppliers. Emergency regulations were enacted April 16, 2020 allowing the following temporary privileges: 17.7.1 Curbside Sales A licensee may permit an agent (excluding third-party contractor) or employee to remove alcoholic beverages from the licensed premises and bring it to a purchaser for curbside pickup under the following conditions: The alcoholic beverage offered for sale is factory-sealed (meaning a closed, manufacturer-sealed bottle or can, or a licensee-sealed, tamper-proofed, and labeled growler of beer); The licensee is permitted to sell the type of alcoholic beverage under its current license; The agent or employee delivering the alcoholic beverage must hold an alcohol server education[…]

Note: The information below applies to all classes of alcoholic beverages. Consumer tastings are permitted at on-sale retail licensed premises only. Free drinks are prohibited, so some type of charge to the consumer is required. The statutes and regulations are otherwise silent regarding permissible promotional activities on licensed premises.
